The Hayden Lake Watershed Improvement District is gearing up for the summer season with a month of meetings. These meetings are open to the public per Idaho Code 74-201 through 74-208 Open Meeting Law.

The ISDA early detection system has found quagga mussel veligers along parts of the Snake River. Further investigation will determine the scope of the spread and the best treatment and control strategies to implement. The very best method of treatment, however, is always prevention. So remember, to keep Hayden Lake and its surroundings clear of aquatic invasive species, always remember to CLEAN, DRAIN, & DRY!
ISDA’s weed surveys are complete, and they have found Eurasian Watermilfoil in Hayden Lake again this year.
