The Hayden Lake Watershed Improvement District serves the entire basin. Our mission is to preserve and enhance the quality of the water and the environment within the watershed.

No-wake zones will be delineated by buoys placed 200 ft from the shoreline.

The Buoy Project: Request for Installation Bids

In September 2019, the Department of Lands permitted 14 buoys for placement at strategic points on Hayden Lake. The Hayden Lake Watershed Improvement District launched The Buoy Project early the preceding summer at the urging of the Hayden Lake Watershed Association.
