Hayden Creek Area Closed to Shooting Oct. 21-27 ’24

The next stage of the Kootenai Fuels Reduction Project will begin Monday and require closing the Hayden Creek shooting pit closure. Idaho Panhandle National Forests
The Idaho Panhandle National Forests has closed the Hayden Creek shooting pit on Forest Service Road 437 and adjacent areas until Oct. 27.

The Hayden Creek area is closed to shooting for one week to ensure the safety of personnel as they complete pile burning as a part of the Kootenai Fuels Reduction Project. Please respect the closure, exercise extra caution when in the area, and avoid discharging firearms.
